A clearer calendar sync review

Review calendar sync changes in one place and apply them all at once. League leaders add Pitching and Keepers boards, and Find a Game organizers can see who's asking to join.

Calendar Sync Review

When your team's calendar sync finds differences, games are now grouped into changed, new, removed and up to date. Pick the ones you want and apply them together.

Afterwards, a summary shows what was updated, added and removed, and anything that couldn't be applied. A game whose opponent changes on the same day is updated instead of removed and added again. Sync also stops suggesting empty changes to a game's address or location.

Pitching and Keepers Leaders

Pitching shows wins, losses, innings pitched, strikeouts, earned runs, walks, hits and ERA, and you can sort by any of them on a larger screen. Keepers lists each league's goalkeepers, without the save numbers soccer doesn't track.

Sports without leader boards no longer show hockey stats in their place.

See Who Wants to Join Your Game

Each request shows the player's photo, position and skill level. You can open their profile or message them, even if they haven't set up a full profile.

Accepted players get their own section, and the number of open spots goes down as you accept people. Accepting or declining confirms what happened, and if something goes wrong, it says what.

Improvements

  • Printed lines show which team is home and which is away.
  • When editing a changed game during a calendar sync, only the details that will be saved are shown.
  • AI assistants connected to BenchApp can look up your team's fees and record payments you've received.

Fixes

  • Opening a calendar sync link while signed in to a different account explains what happened and lets you sign in with the right one.
  • A player's fee shows the opponent for the game it's tied to.
  • Game details stay open while they're still loading, instead of jumping back to Home or the Schedule.
  • Quick Score's Cancel and Save buttons, and the game header buttons, fit on phone screens.
  • On touchscreen tablets, Return starts a new line in Chatter instead of sending the message.
  • Invite Spares lets you pick any spare again, including ones without contact details.
  • Jersey numbers are back on the roster on phones.
  • The free agent welcome no longer pops up while you're creating an account or a team.
  • Closing a tip on Home closes the one you meant.
